Viktoriia Dessert uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. On your first visit, a cookie banner asks for your active consent to any cookies that aren't strictly necessary — necessary cookies are described below.

1. Necessary website technologies

Our website is built using Astro and hosted by Netlify. Technical information may be processed by our hosting provider where necessary to deliver, secure and maintain the website.

This technical processing does not mean that Viktoriia Dessert uses cookies to track your activity across websites.

To remember the contents of your shopping cart while you browse, our website stores this information directly on your own device using your browser's local storage. We also briefly use your browser's session storage to display your order confirmation after checkout; this information is deleted automatically once it has been shown. Neither of these technologies is a cookie, and the information stays on your device — it is not accessible to us and is not shared with any third party.

2. Your consent choices

On your first visit, our website shows a cookie banner with three equally easy options: accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or manage your preferences by category. We distinguish three categories:

  • Necessary — always active and cannot be turned off (see above).
  • Analytics — we don't currently use any analytics tool on our website; this category is in place for whenever we do so in the future.
  • Marketing — activates the Meta (Facebook) Pixel (see below). This only loads after you grant consent for it, never before.

You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie Settings" at the bottom of every page.

3. Third-party services

Our website contains a link to our Instagram profile. Clicking this link will take you to Instagram's website. Instagram's own privacy and cookie policies apply once you leave our website.

Once you've consented to marketing cookies, we use Meta's Pixel to measure how visitors respond to our Facebook and Instagram advertising, and to improve those ads. The Meta Pixel sets a cookie (including "_fbp") and may share data with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. More information is available in Meta's own cookie policy.

We use Resend to send emails relating to order requests and customer communications. Resend is not embedded into our website and is not used by Viktoriia Dessert for advertising or behavioural tracking.

4. Future changes

If we introduce new cookies or other non-essential tracking technologies not already described in this Cookie Policy, we will update this policy and, where required by law, request your consent before using them.

5. Contact
